SUNSET FEST
Sunset Fest is EC's way of kicking off Fall Quarter with a free concert to welcome the new freshmen to campus. Think of it as your very first quintessential college experience and another way to make friends while listening to your favorite artist. There are games, food, and giveaways that all lead up to the headlining performer! In the Fall of 2022, Remi Wolf headlined the show on the UCD Quad. This year, we had Knock2, Bakar, and Hojean perform to an adoring crowd of 8,000 UCD students!!!

BRAINFREEZE
Entertainment Council is very excited to bring you Brain Freeze! Take a break from finals and chill out with us at our Winter Quarter concert. In the Winter of 2023, Raveena headlined the first-ever Brain Freeze show at the Mondavi Center. No Vacation then took our breaths away earlier this year as our headliner for Brainfreeze 2024. This year, Luna Li joined us in the exclusive Vanderhoef Studio in the Mondavi Center to give an intimate acoustic performance to students. This is typically a ticketed event to preserve the exclusivity of the performance!

LAWNTOPIA
Lawntopia is EC's way of celebrating Spring Quarter with our largest concert of the year, in the sunny weather! What better way to end the school year than to spend time with friends while listening to your favorite artists? There are games, food, and giveaways that all lead up to the headlining performer! Previous headliners have been Duckwrth, Isaiah Rashad, and, most recently Aminé in 2024. We have continually grown our Spring concert to be the premier EC event of the year! Stay tuned for the lineup for Spring 2025, it will be the BIGGEST IT HAS EVER BEEN!!!

Small Events
The ASUCD Entertainment Council brings a variety of entertainment experiences to UC Davis through movie screenings, Local Limelights, and Special events. From showcasing blockbuster films and cult classics to providing a stage for student musicians, EC is dedicated to creating spaces where students can come together and enjoy live entertainment. In addition to supporting local talent, we curate unique events that push creative boundaries, such as Boiler Room-style performances and intimate sessions inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk series. No matter the event, EC is committed to making campus a hub for music, film, and unforgettable experiences!
