MOVIE SCREENINGS

If you thought that the Entertainment Council was just music, think again! We also put on free movie screenings for students every quarter at the classic Varsity Theatre in downtown Davis, as well as Cruess Hall on campus. For any movie lovers out there, we have brought advanced screenings of some of the most popular movies of the last few years, including A Star is Born, the Justice League, and the Big Sick. Let us know what types of movies you want to see in the future!

OPEN MIC NIGHTS

Open Mic Nights are held in the famous UC Davis Coffee House (aka the Coho) at least once a quarter for students to show off their talent in front of an engaged audience. Acts can range from student bands and stand-up comedy routines to heartfelt poetry readings, and we are always excited to see new unique acts! Anyone can secure a position to participate in advance by emailing productions@ec.ucdavis.edu, or you can sign up at the event, provided there are still time slots available.
