About

Entertainment Council (EC) is the unit of the Associated Students of the University of California, Davis (ASUCD) responsible for booking and hosting concerts, dance parties, movie screenings and other entertaining events for the student body. EC is comprised of eight staff members, valued interns, and dozens of volunteers. Entertainment Council is completely student run.

Over the years, EC has brought artists such as Passion Pit, Muse, Jason Mraz, Death Cab For Cutie, Super Mash Bros, Best Coast, Islands, The Pixies, The Shins, Blackalicious, Talking Heads, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, Girl Talk, Dead Kennedys, Cake, Ozma, Suburban Legends and Saul Williams to the UC Davis Campus.

In addition, EC has brought advanced screenings of films including The Social Network, Knocked Up, Disturbia, The Kite Runner as well as showing popular movies such as Black Swan, 500 Days of Summer, and Inception.

Danielle Burnstein director	Andrea Hasson assistant director
4th year Cultural Anthropology and Spanish double major; Music minor. Her favorite movie is Rockstar & Goodwill hunting. She enjoys watching Modern Family & Community. ♥’s: Foo Fighters & 2AM Club.	Junior Clinical Nutrition Major. Andrea enjoys watching The Office & 500 Days of Summer. Her favorite bands are the Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, & The Shins. Random Fact: Although she’s left handed, she can’t throw a ball with her left hand.

Senior Communication & Technocultural Studies double major. His favorite artists are Two Door Cinema Club, The Temper Trap, The New Division, & Taylor Swift. David loves watching Mad Men and is a coffee snob.	2nd year International Relations major; Japanese minor. Alicia’s favorite artists are Regina Spektor, Taylor Swift, & John Mayer. On her downtime she watches How I Met Your Mother, Glee, & Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Random Fact: Alicia is double jointed.
Kevin Dang accountant	Samuel Porras cinema director
4th year Managerial Economics major. Kevin’s favorite movie is Toy Story and he loves How I Met Your Mother & Community. He also loves listening to Saosin, John Mayer, and Jay-Z. Kevin has climbed to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.	3rd Year- Environmental Science and Management Major. His favorite artists are Coldplay, the XX, and Daft Punk. His favorite TV show is the Big Bang Theory and his favorite movie is Where the Wild Things Are. Sam also has an unhealthy addiction to ketchup.

2nd year Electrical Engineering major. Angela loves watching Doctor Who and her favorite artists are Heart to Heart, Last Call, & Moving Mountains. Angela has 98 band tees & she loves supporting small bands all throughout the West Coast.	Nadra is a 4th year Communications Major and Comparative Literature and Managerial Economics Minor. Her favorite artists are The xx, Drake and Frank Ocean. Her favorite TV show is Entourage and her favorite movies are Casablanca and The Wizard of Oz.
